Oprah Winfrey is considered one of the most powerful women of our time. She was named one of the 100 most influential people of the 20th century. Oprah Winfrey did not always have the most perfect life; she had to over come some very tough obstacles in life. Oprah Winfrey was sexually abuse by a relative at the age of nine, and had the lonely feeling of not being loved by her mother. Oprah had very good study habits. They came from one of the most influential people of her life, her fourth grade teacher, Mrs. Duncan. Since she was young Oprah Winfrey know she wanted to work in the media and help and inspire people. As of today Oprah Winfrey has raised millions of dollars and inspired so many people. Oprah knows that as long as she is making a difference in people's lives she will continue with her show. She started out as a determined little girl who made her dreams come true.
