A Lesson on Friendship

"Oh my god I would never be her friend", were one of the many lines I use to say about my best friend now. Friends are hard to come by these days, there are some who you think you can trust. While the others turn out to be people, you never thought they would be.
My best friend and I go back to the 7th grade. A grade in which popularity is everything. I was the quiet type, the type who did not really talk to anyone. And did not care if I did. Not knowing who she was, from the moment that I saw her I knew that I did not like her. Her with her stupid cell phone and the perfect hair. It drove me insane. I guess you could say it was more of a jealousy thing.
Everyday, I remember seeing her either walking in the halls or talking on her phone. Thoughts of how I knew I would never want to be her friend or even talk to her somehow it would run through my mind. I wonder if she felt the same? Too bad, I would never know.......
