(Gould 1983) A theory is a conceptual framework that explains existing observations and can be used to make accurate predictions for understanding new observations. Good science recognizes that theories are provisional and are always open to testing against the facts. It is not an offense to Darwin's dignity for people to offer scientific criticisms and make investigations of the scientific theory of evolutionary.
