Julius Caesar is about the rise, fall, and murder of Julius Caesar and the life of Rome and its conspirators. It was written by William Shakespeare. The so called leader of his death was his friend Brutus. What would cause him to kill such a close friend? After reading about Brutus' relationship with Caesar, how important he is to the plot, and his involvement in the conspiracy, you might understand why.
Brutus was a close friend to Caesar. He had a good relationship with him and an even better one with Rome. Brutus loved Caesar, maybe in a very gay way, but was scared of his power. In the beginning Brutus said, "What means this shouting? I do fear the people do choose Caesar for their king
yet I love him well."(act I). Brutus didn't want Caesar to take the thrown and then turn his back on the people. After they killed Caesar, Brutus said, "Our hearts you see not; they are pitiful; and pity to the general wrong of Rome
