Everyone likes to watch movies, especially action movies. ¡§Gladiator¡¨ is one of the most interesting and wonderful movie I have every seen. ¡§Gladiator¡¨ was directed by Ridley Scott, who fictionalized some parts of history of Rome that is presented in the movie. But why does Scott want to do that? Why does he want to fictionalize the Roman history? Is there any good to do that? In my opinion, Ridley Scott fictionalized the history of Rome in order to make his movie less complicated and more interesting for the audiences. Therefore, it can be understood by audiences of all ages. For example, he combined the characteristics of generalities of Roman generals, gladiators, and Commodus¡¦ assassin in one person, which is Maximus.
