In October 2006 the entrepreneurial team of Nick Kesaris and Spiro Kouvlis opened the doors to their forth restaurant venture UBurger. Located at 636 Beacon Street in the heart of Kenmore square UBurger is hamburger themed, up-scale fast food experience. Located directly across the street from the local McDonalds, UBurger places its emphasis on a higher quality of ingredients to give it the edge in the highly competitive food environment, "Our goal," said Kesaris, "is to give people fresh, fast burgers and fries ". Once inside customers will notice the steel panels lining the walls, the plasma TV and the chalk board menu; seating is available for up to 40 people inside and 20 outside, weather permitting. In addition to hamburgers, UBurger also offers hot dogs, fries, onion rings, milk shakes and healthier alternatives such as grilled chicken sandwiches and salads.
