A Human Life's Worth

Euthanasia, or assisted suicide, has been an ongoing controversy for many years. Fatally ill elderly are scared to face the way they die, and many are choosing to die prematurely, to die a ‘dignified death'. Should euthanasia be legalized for this reason? Legalizing euthanasia is not a sensible solution for our problems. It should not be legalized nor tolerated in Australia, or anywhere else in the world.
Euthanasia brings back memories of the Holocaust chronicles, when the dictator Hitler wanted to wipe out the ‘unfavourables', consisting of the sick and dying.
One of the most common forms of assisted euthanasia carried out is by lethal injections, given by doctor while their patient sleeps. Legalizing euthanasia would be the same as decriminalising some forms of murder. If we make euthanasia legal, will our next step be tolerating, or maybe even legalizing murder? Euthanasia, in other words, is merely making murder sound respectable. There is no logic......
