Rough Draft

The beginning of football began in the mid 1800s. When the daughter of Lamar Hunt ,Sharon Hunt, bounced a small red, white and blue ball over the roof and into their backyard. Then Lamar asked his daughter:
"What's that?" he said.
"A super ball. That's its real name, Daddy, super ball"
(Anderson, p3).
Surprising that later on the "Super ball" inspired the name of the NFL's championship game , The Super Bowl. But like any other American sport the roots of football were small. Starting at News Brunswick, New Jersey. Where Rutgers and Princeton played what most historians believe the first college football game. With the simple rule of: No running or throwing with the round inflated ball. As to now in modern time the game of football is played by either running or throwing the ball.
