Fables are usually stories or legends passed down from generation to generation as a way to pass morals to instill in children. A fable is usually a short tale to teach a moral lesson, often with animals or inanimate objects as characters that take on human roles. Fables are told my either word of mouth, a song, poem, or a movie. Fables usually teach about morals, caution, wisdom, greed, foolishness, or any lesson that can relate to life. A fairytale is very similar to a fable but has some sort of magic to help emphasize the lesson or moral.
