When you were little and your parents told you that you can be anything you want, they said this because you can go to college and study anything you want as long as you are willing to work for it. There are many different reasons to go to college, some reasons are more important than others. The most important reason for going to college is that it will help you to get a good job. However, college also gives you the experience of living on your own and meeting people from many different places.

Back when my parents were young, having a high school diploma was the minimum for trying to get a good job. Now a bachelor's degree is now the minimum! So if you want a good job making a lot of money, you have to attend a college. That is a fact rather people want to accept it or not.
