The novel Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, by J.K. Rowling, is an amazing and magical tale in which a very likable hero, Harry Potter takes us on an adventure into the wizarding world of Hogwarts School. This wonderful school saves young Mr. Potter from living full time with his dreadful Aunt and Uncle Dursley, and his awful cousin, Dudley. This is a story in which the theme illustrates the triumph of good over evil, involving both likeable and hateful characters.
This is a present time story that takes us into a magical dimension full of happy and unhappy surprises. The characterizations in this novel are well developed. In addition to Harry and the Dursleys we meet Harry's best friends Heromine Granger and Ron Weasley. The staff at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is made up of loveable characters such as Rubious Hagrid, Albus Dumbledore, and Minurva McGonagall. A dark and brooding character is Professor Snape, who is very jealous of Harry and his fame.......
