Using Axia's Educational Resources
• Downloading the course syllabus and calendar at the beginning of every class. Before starting an assignment or project downloading the associated materials such as the readings and appendix for each and every assignment.
• Using the university library effectively by using corresponding keywords with the Power quest and Ebsco host search engines to search periodicals and journals that contain information about the topic or topics I am researching. While keeping in mind that if I should have trouble finding something the librarian is only an email away.
• By identifying key information within the article I can better note facts in the article and properly document source information. By keeping the article's name and keywords used to find the article and when it was published along with what search engine was used to find it.
