This car was an instant hit with Americans all over the country. All throughout the 1970's Toyota was the top selling import brand car in America. However in the 1980's they switched their style and began to manufacture their cars in the U.S. Now a day the Toyota Company is headquartered in Torrance, CA, and is leading the industry in customer service and product quality.
