2.Verfahrenszweck:
XBRL, eine auf XML (eXtensible Markup Language) basierende Technologie, wird mit dem Ziel entwickelt, ein international brauchbares und anerkanntes elektronisches Standard-format für die Darstellung und die Kommunikation von Geschäftsdaten, wie Jahresab-schlüssen sowie anderen finanziellen und nichtfinanziellen Berichten, zu schaffen und zu etablieren. Es sollen dabei keine neuen Rechnungslegungsstandards erstellt werden, denn dies ist und bleibt Aufgabe der entsprechenden Standard-Setter (z.B. FASB, IASB oder DRSC). Vielmehr steht eine Vereinfachung und Vereinheitlichung des Datenaustausches entlang der Supply-Chain für Finanzdaten im Mittelpunkt.
