In today’s society, cheating, lying, and scandal is all part of everyday life, as is covering up cheating, lies, and scandals, so it is no surprise that these qualities are also extremely present in the government. The government spends too much time and money looking for criminals and arresting them for white collar crimes, than preventing the temptation to commit these crimes. In this sense, the government is corrupt, hiding their countries’ problems rather than preventing them. They spend more time looking for people cheating their taxes than attempting to figure out why it is these people find it so necessary to save money that they are willing to commit a crime to do so. Are these people not earning enough money? In which case the government could fix this issue and contact the employer to ensure that the workers are being paid reasonably.
