The article focuses on the fact that MySpace has signed a contract with a British production company, known as SineReveille International. SineReveille is the distributing portion of the Shine Group’ and has rights to international shows including “The Biggest Loser” and “Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?” The contract with MySpace was to allow MySpace to share its video content overseas.
MySpace is one of the many branches of a bigger company known as News Corporation; which in the article is known as “’Hollywood’s digital playground.’” With this in mind Shine Group is hopping to bring the shows from online to television.
