The struggle for identity and purpose between these boys sparks those feelings of hate, envy, jealousy, love, and friendship. Identity is a sought after possession which is found amidst war, natural gifts, and dangerous friendships.
During World War II young men at Devon search for the pride and purpose fresh troops demonstrate when riding off to war. The troops proudly display their sense of purpose; to serve till death on the battlefield. The peace which troops display despite knowing that death is near pushes young......
