The purpose of this paper is to discuss globalization. Within this paper, traditional international trade theories that support the concept of globalization will be discussed as well as major drivers of the globalization concept and examples of each. Additionally, four effect of globalization impacting the community and a real world organization will be covered. Finally, major regional trading blocs (and two in a specific region) will conclude this paper.
According to the textbook, globalization refers to the shift toward a more integrated and interdependent world economy.
