Presentations
Presentation is not simply getting up in front of a group of people and telling and showing them information. There are many subtleties to presenting information that many tend to overlook, what is worn, what colors are used, and where the presentation is held just to name a few. The use of technology in presenting has changed over the years; early chalkboards and flips charts have been replaced by slick multimedia projections from a computer. After a slow start PowerPoint has become the dominant among programs used to produce these “slick multimedia projections.”
In the days before there was a computer on just about every desk in the office, there where still presentations to be done. The method used by presenters to share information have changed but they all do the same thing, give a visual representation of the information being presented in a easy to read format.
