Healthcare professionals should have to study the diversity among different cultures so that they are familiar when caring for individuals. I will discuss the cultural views on health of the Asian Indian and Arab culture.
When caring for the Asian Indian culture, the provider must be familiar with the Asian tradition on their beliefs about health and experiences in the past that have persuaded their attitudes toward healthcare. Elders of the Indian system have a strong belief in a medicine called Ayurvedic. This medicine has the way of avoiding and curing illnesses (Alagiakrishnan and Chopra, 2007).
