Prominently known as a brilliant Brazilian educator, Paulo Freire’s conjectures on the societal context of education brought him global recognition, as well as, political persecution within his own nation. Born in Recife, Brazil, Freire was exposed to the world economic crises which forced him to know hunger and poverty at a young age. Living among poor rural families and laborers helped him gain a deeper understanding of their lives and the effect of socio-economics on education. During high school, Freire became a grammar teacher—even then his instinct pressed him toward a dialogic education in which he endeavored to understand students’ expectations. Through this field he was able to establish an invocative learning system which was based on a learning process that focused solely on the social environment of the student. Freire avowed that students should be expected to distinguish the social veracity which they inhabit as an essential part of their learning activity.......
