Michelle looked sadly outside, from her position against the second story window of her room. Rain was pounding down onto the glass at an angle, and she was filled with despair. Physical pain was nothing to her anymore, so she leant, slumped against the window, watching the world watch her, a single solitary tear, running down her cheek, creating a river down her face.
Insomnia had begun to creep in on her lately, and her eyes started to close, as she began to drift off to sleep, as her tears dried, just as her heart had done.
