Demonstrating Communication Skills
The demonstration of good communication skills is vital to the supervisory role, in order to be a leader one must be able to lead effectively and that begins with communication. First a supervisor must know what their personal style of communication is, in effect they need to know what form of communication works the most effectively for them, and they must be consistent. I believe that that most important aspect of demonstrating communication skills is not so much in what is said but the actions that follow. To be an effective communicator a supervisor must have knowledge and also they must stand behind and follow through with what they say.
