Randy Pausch describes his cancer as “an engineering problem.” How was this a helpful way to look at his illness? When Randy describes his cancer as an “engineering problem” it helps me think that it’s not anything he can die from, and takes the attention off the bad side of the illness and lets me focus on the main points of the books.
