First off, my name is Jordan Coy and I am a senior at Jefferson High School in Lafayette Indiana. Over the years throughout middle school and high school, I have written many papers and had to sit through many presentations and oral reports. I have also had to force myself to read through many books that I would otherwise not even give a second glance. Here is how I consider myself when it comes to reading, writing, and listening.
I consider myself to be a decent writer. It isn’t one of my favorite things to do in the world, but when I have to do it, I generally do it. I can sometimes really get into it if it is a topic that I really enjoy, but other than that, I have to force myself through it. I try to make catchy introductions to grab my readers’ attention, but with some topics, that is just way too impossible. I try to stay on task as to get my job accomplished, and I research my topic as to know and fully understand what it is I am writing about.
