Salt and Light

The scripture of Matthew 5, 13-14, to me Jesus is talking about being proud of who and what you are and to live by setting an example for others. When Jesus says “You are the salt of the earth”, he describes us as being the basic building block on which everything stands. And “if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again” basically tells us a hypercritic cannot go backwards. You have but one chance in every opportunity to do the right thing, in life, in business, and in the eyes of God. Much of our lives is dominated with the type of business we choose to make a living and we must strive to follow Gods plan. In business you will constantly be challenged with the opportunity to follow in Gods footsteps. When Jesus says “You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden”, are not just words for a leader but for everyone. As the phrase goes, “actions speak louder than words” describes this passage very well and......
