Christopher John Francis Boone is an extremely interesting person. He is extremely intelligent but lacks normal social skills such as the ability to understand facial expressions and humor. He cannot stand being touched, and thinks about everything logically which is why he enjoys math so much. Christopher is the first person ever to take advanced maths who goes to his school which even though it is not said explicitly in the book, is for children with special needs such as Christopher. At one point Christopher tells us that a boy goes to the bathroom right on the floor and then starts eating it. When he is overwhelmed he counts in prime numbers up into the thousands and turns on the radio to white noise so he can drone out everyone who is talking to him or bad thoughts that are going through his very busy mind.
Christopher never really has that much to do, he enjoys math and would love to become an astronaut when he gets older. His zest for outer space is the reason behind......
