From the well-known author Robert Green he wrote, “Never seen to be in a hurry- hurrying betrays the lack of control over yourself and over time.” (Greene, 1998) This can go hand in hand with Walt Disney and the decline of his leadership, which lead to a strike at his studio. Walt Disney’s dreams grew quicker than he could ever imagine. The amount of employees that Walt Disney had employed grew just as quickly. He went from working in day-to-day collaboration with his artists to over a thousand artists that did everything from create characters to paint cells. Walt was no longer able to have a one on one personal relationship with all of his employees. (Thomas, 165) This is where problems began, many of his employees felt as if they were being over looked or felt as if they had little importance.
