Obesity in America today is rapidly becoming a serious health issue.
For the most part it is due to the amount of calories that are eaten in our
daily diets. As a whole our nation is at a state of constant motion in
which most of us grab a bite to eat when we can. The fast pace life we
live and the I want it right now attitude has made us a country of
unhealthy eaters. In this day and age most of us don’t stop and think of
the food we eat and the nutritional value it has. Most fast food places
now have a small menu of healthy food, but we are so used to the taste
of that Big Mac from McDonalds or beef and bean burrito from Taco
Bell we don’t think of the calories in either. Our lives have changed
drastically from that of 40 or even 30 years ago when families ate a
good dinner together.


In today’s society the average person eats out at least 3 times a
week, and none of us has time to work off the extra calories we take in.
