Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby exemplifies the innate values and morals of its characters and the society in which they live by using continual partying, glamorous houses, and extraordinary extravagance.
The ridiculous wealth and obvious garishness of Gatsby’s parties reveals the reckless values of West Egg society. Nick observes that, “There was music from my neighbor’s house all through summer nights. In his blue gardens, men and girls came and went like moths among the whisperings......
