I think that education is the biggest part of a person’s life. It determines a person’s abilities and their success later on in life. However, the lack of funding for public education affects students. The public school students’ ability to thrive academically diminishes and there is limited help. In addition, private schooled students have a great advantage over public school students, which causes problems for regular students when both types of students compared. I do not think it is fair that someone who went to a private school and only had average grades should have more opportunities than a person who had better grades, yet went to a public school as it happened to me. Nevertheless, all of that can change by making sure that I vote and make my opinion heard. My vote is important because I think that public education can become better and students should have an opportunity to learn as much as the private school students do.
