Troy is an adaptation of Homer’s great epic The Iliad. It is, however, not a literal translation of the poem but rather more like a historical recreation. The movie does not follow one single protagonist but deals with many key characters. True to Homer’s work the movie captures intense emotion and breath taking action. While the movie displays many organisational communication concepts two key concepts include organisational power and groups and teams. The groups and teams concept is directly related to the army of both Troy and the Greeks, organisational power is evident through the relationships and interactions between some key characters.
