Brotherhood and personal responsibility are a thing of the past. Media violence, drugs, and upbringings are some of the causes for these changes in the way people think.
Society has become more violent and dangerous for children due to the media. One in six children between the ages of 10 and 17 has seen or knows someone who has been shot. Television is the greatest source of visual violence in our society. Every day, people are bombarded with news reports of child molestations and abductions as well as murder, war, and robberies. From the time we are children to the time we finish elementary school, we are exposed to thousands to tens of thousands of televised murders or acts of violence.
