Millions of people across the country use the internet daily. Some of these people have no intentions other than to keep in touch with family, check the weather, read the New York Times…etc. However, there is another group of users that use it for the sole purpose of scamming adults or taking advantages of children. Because of these malevolent people, the Internet is swamped with dangerous infections, tracking devices, and scams that could potentially harm a computer or a person.
Most people are aware of what a computer virus or Trojan is, but it is frequently only associated with viewing pornography sites and this is inaccurate. A virus can be acquired from even the most unsuspecting sites because viruses are created by humans although it’s hard to say why someone would intentionally invent something that is harmful to others.
