DTI-NERBAC SEMINAR: ACTIVITY SUMMARY



The Management 138 section A students had their half day Business Registration Requirements and Other Tax Update seminar at the Department of Trade and Industry – NERBAC building last August 13 and 20 2008. The first seven students of the class attended the first schedule while the remaining students attended the other one. The purpose for such activity is to enrich the students’ knowledge on the processes involved in legalizing a business and to provide a clear overview of the essential steps of forming a business. Speakers from the different concerned agencies such as DTI, SSS, BIR, PAG-IBIG, PHILHEALTH, and the Cebu City government shared all the necessary information needed in putting up a business.

The seminar started at one o’clock in the afternoon. The first speaker was Mr. Maynard Soria from the DTI-NERBAC who gave us an overview of the activity and of the organization’s purpose and goals. Right after him was Mrs. Dinah......
