Today many people have experiences that change one's point of view earlier in life than those that lived a few decades ago. Often children will learn "life lessons" earlier through experiences such as one's parents divorcing and other stress. Growing up, I learned many things sooner than my parents had; I enjoyed questioning everything. As this may have driven my family crazy, I certainly got the last laugh. I was acquiring a wealth of information. Now this is where I made a startling discovery. There are many other views besides those of people that were around me! This meant that I could, and more than likely would, disagree with them at some point. I have since realized that questioning one's peers, parents, and societies beliefs, are key to becoming a free thinker.
I started to disagree about small things, at first, such as my favorite clothes, or song. But soon I was asking my mom why she was different then someone else, or why she felt a......
