I chose to write my response on the essay “ Every Person Deserves Respect”. Not only did I agree with the author on how we should give every person we meet respect and how they all can offer us knowledge of something we did not know before, this essay also hit closer to home.
If my grandfather were to write a “ This I Believe” essay he would write the same thing. Ever since I was little he has shown me that ever new you talk to has something to offer you. Wether it is a fact you didn’t know before, or even what the weather is going to be tomorrow. Every restaurant we go to , by the end of the meal he knows the waiters whole life story.
At such an early age , I learned the message the author of the essay is trying to instill in us. I agree that you don’t have to agree with the person , but they can show you a different side of the argument. I also agree that when you show people respect and interest in who they are , they ere patient......
