It is key to find and focus on the one true goal of the company, making money. In a larger corporation, it is easy to get sidetracked from the goal by focusing on seemingly important concepts such as productivity and efficiency, however as seen in The Goal focusing o solely those concepts will keep the company further from its goal. All decisions which are made by the company must be made with the regard to the company’s goal, and the best decisions must simultaneously strive to lower operational expense, lower inventory, and increase throughput.
