Since the beginning of time and through out history we see acts of rebellion everywhere, from
the uprising and revolutions that helped shape this world, to the small unnoticeable rebellions peo-
ple around us do everyday. Rebellion is not easily defined and any dictionary definition is simply
one-side,
Since I have been struggling with a definition for rebellion, I will work my way starting from a
dictionary definition and see where it goes from there. From the Cambridge Advanced learner´s
Dictionary: Rebellion (noun) 2) Action against those in authority or against the rules or against
normal and accepted ways of behaving. Half that definition is the start and the rest come along. A
rebellion is indeed “action against those authority or against the rules or against normal accepted
ways of behaving” except it is not always against authority or against rules but it is most defiantly
against accepted ways of behaving.Who decided what the accepted ways behaving......
