Ebola: An Unpredictable Epidemic
A new and extremely deadly virus has globally instilled fear among citizens, across all nations. This new virus is Ebola and it is leaving many countries feeling helpless to this new super virus. This virus has the ability to wipe out many populations and spreads quite rapidly. However this is only Ebola in general. The Ebola virus comes in five different strains each with its own set of case histories and symptoms. These five strains are Marburgh, Ebola-Reston, Ebola-Zaire, Ebola Sudan, and Ebola-Ivory Coast. Although each of these viruses are a form of Ebola, each are unique in that they produce slightly different symptoms and each occur in different parts of the globe. However all of these viruses are filoviruses and each are very hazardous.
