Same-sex marriage is a very controversial issue to many. There are two sides to the argument. One side find themselves in favour of the movement to make same-sex marriages legal. The other side find it morally wrong, or wrong in some way to them, or society. Not to say that one side is right, but they each have their own perspectives and opinions on the issue.
In the article “A Victory for Same-Sex Marriage,” the New York state court has come to the decision that same-sex marriages preformed outside of the state shall be recognized inside of the state. People fighting for gay rights find this new law to be a step foreword in their fight. These people feel that people of a same-sex marriage should be entitled to the same rights, and benefits (at work), as those in a heterosexual marriage.
