V.P. Face-off: Biden vs. Palin

Last night, Washington University of St. Louis was electrified with intensity from both vice presidential candidates debate platforms. Republican Governor Sarah Palin faced-off against Democratic Senator Joe Biden in an hour and a half long debate over issues like the bailout bill, taxes, health care, and foreign policy to name a few. Both candidates came to the podium ready and with answers for the inquisitive and undecided American people.
The first topic brought to the candidate’s attention was the bailout bill that President Bush tried to place into effect just recently to help out the economy. Biden argued that the democratic ticket’s plan for the economy can be wrapped up into four basic principles: oversight by the federal government, monitoring activities of homeowners, protecting taxpayers like investors, and restricting the CEO’s benefits. Biden stressed the importance of shifting the focus of the economy to the middle class.......
