For this paper I chose a private adult foster care facility called, Premier Home Care. The home is located at XXXX SE UNKNOWN ST Portland, OR 97123, it is a residential neighborhood with a pleasant neighborhood near a park. I met with Angela who is the owner/operator of the home. She gave me a tour of the home and I was able to visit with some of the patients as well. Angela has worked in the health care profession for twenty years and has a long standing background and knowledge of medications and care giving. She is dedicated and committed, and believes that care giving is what an Adult Family Home should be about. She works closely with each resident's family to achieve effective, professional levels of care in all aspects of daily living.
The layout and furnishing of the home makes it feel very warm and cozy. The home has seven bedrooms, of those seven rooms, four of them have patients. When I visited with the patients I felt sorrow for these people because of there......
