Throughout life our morals, values and opinions are shaped by our experiences. Whether they are first or second hand, experiences complete who we are as human beings. Sometimes they can make us cold hearted, other times they create soft spots in our hearts for people in certain situations. Experiences can break a person’s spirit, or give them an unimaginable drive to succeed. The defining line between how an experience affects a person is how they choose to react. For this reason; I choose “Cargo Flight to Somewhere” (p. 74-85) from the section Run for Your Life to reflect upon. I was truly inspired at how Bovic Antosi has managed to pull light out of the darkness of his situation.
