This article defines bilingualism to be the ability to communicate in two different languages. This article states that “Bilingual Education is the use of two different languages in classroom instruction.” The article then goes into a descriptive detail that the younger a person is when learning languages, the easier it is to acquire. Children whom are raised in bilingual homes or whom receive bilingual education easily acquire both languages simultaneously. There are different types of bilingual education throughout the world.
