In accordance with the centers of disease control and prevention, approximately 30,000 individuals each year are killed by guns in the United States. As a developed nation the United States has a much higher rate of death caused by guns then other developed Nations; in relation to this, a widespread debate has generated. Growing restrictions through gun history has not depleted the significant amount of deaths in the United States, moreover it has infringed on the rights guaranteed by the second amendment. Critics of gun control believe that firearms in the hands of society are a deterrent to criminals for the reason that individuals will be more able to protect themselves. Additionally guns are overlooked for their practical usage; Restrictions are continuing to discourage their original purpose.
