Carl is one of six children of Walter and Julia Rogers. He is the fourth oldest, having four brothers and one sister. Walter was a civil engineer and Julia was a housewife. Carl was raise as a strong Christian, where drinking, smoking, dancing and playing cards were not permitted. And the family was not allowed to associate with those who participate in such sinful acts. When Carl was a teen, his family moved to a farm outside of Chicago. Carl and his sibling had many chores to do. And Carl and his siblings up bring were very strict. When Carl went off to college, which is where he broke off from his strict home life. He started to major in scientific agriculture then decide to change over to ministry. During his college years he meets up with a long time childhood friend Helen Elliot. They began to spend a great a mount of time together and after Carl graduated he married Helen against his parent’s


wishes. His parents accepted them dating but felt marriage before a career......
