In this globalization world, each country becomes closer together. What we need to maintain good relations between countries are the absence of violence or threat of violence against persons and their property; we all know as peace. We are led to believe that globalization needs peace to thrive and what causes peace is democracy. Democracy can be defined differently depends on theorists. Some defines democracy as "power of the people", an expression of the "collective will" of the people or a network of human relations. Democracy and peace can not be separated; that democracy leads to and causes peace; and that peace cannot be achieved in the absence of democracy. This was said by Woodrow Wilson one of the strongest proponents of this view.
