Godzilla takes over America
Pocky, manga, kanji. Have you heard of any of these? If not … where have you been? All around us teenagers, children, and even young adults are being drawn into Japanese culture. Japanese comics, called manga, take up more and more space on American bookshelves, and they've infused new life into the publishing industry. Buying random cool little robotic action figures; to collecting cute disfigured animals that just make no sense at all. Even some American musicians use Japanese culture as influence in the making of their own music. Best of all the majority of young Americans love their food; it’s to die for. Japanese culture is very different from the U.S.; today Japanese cultures have a huge impact on younger Americans; and infusing their traditions greatly influenced the U.S. through TV, music, and even food.
