Gay Marriage

I think it should be a matter of basic civil and equal rights. The equality and dignity of gay couples should be respected. Gays deserve the same right to happiness as any heterosexual, everyone is entitled to happiness and the sex whom they are attracted to shouldn’t be a reason to stop it. If anything harms a marriage, it is a bad marriage where people don’t take marriage seriously and that’s already too common with heterosexuals. If a gays couple has a committed relationship and is able to formalize their union into marriage, that can only serve to improve marriage and provide a positive role model. Many believe that gays aren’t able to form a family and raise children correctly in their environment. But society does allow people like murders, convicted felons of all sort, and every known child molesters this right with hardly a second thought. Or that gay relationship is immoral, but says who? The bible? I always thought that freedom of religion implied......
